Around this time, every year, Amazon Web Services prepares one of the most important conferences in the cloud industry, AWS re:Invent 2015. Part of our team will be going to this event, where they will be able to know all AWS news for next year.
AWS re:Invent 2015 will be hosted in Las Vegas from October 6th to October 9th, with news, training, certifications and technical sessions. This is a unique opportunity for developers and engineers, managers and SysAdmins, and technical decision-makers.
At AWS re:Invent 2015 they’ll be able to gain knowledge about AWS basics (EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift) and discover new services (EC2 Container Service, AWS Lambda, Amazon Aurora, Amazon Kinesis…).
It is also the best way to know all the Success Stories, with 250 sessions on cloud architecture, continuous deployment, monitoring, performance and security, among other things. And it’s the best way to learn on first hand, with technical bootcamps, labs and hackathons.
AWS re:Invent 2015 – Key Points
This year more than 18.000 people from 123 different countries will be at AWS re:Invent 2015, what do they expect?
AWS re:Invent 2015 it’s an event where they’ll be able to discover the last AWS news and AWS’ road map for the next year.
The focus of this year’s edition will be, on one hand, positioning AWS. With competitors like Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, it’s time for AWS to position as an enterprise platform. For doing so, probably, they’ll focus on improving cloud management, launching new tools for corporate clients.
Another key point in AWS re:Invent 2015 will be, clearly, security on AWS. Nowadays, Identity and Access Management (IAM) and hybrid/private clouds extensions are a high trend, and an important piece in AWS’s future.
Eventually, due to the repercussion they’ve been having the last months, data analytics will be another key point at Amazon Web Services re:Invent 2015. Probably, we’ll have the change to know and discover improvements in AWS’s Big Data services and their Success stories in different business cases.
Every year, some weeks before the event, the tickets sold out. Anyway, if you couldn’t get yours, you’ll be able to watch the live streaming of some keynotes. Register on the website and you’ll be able to watch the sessions on October 7th & October 8th.
