CAPSiDE’s participation in the AWS Partner Network (APN) further demonstrates CAPSiDE’s deep expertise in the AWS cloud and will be key to lead the digital transformation of the Spanish public sector.
CAPSiDE, one of the leading companies in Spain for the design, automation and 24/7 operation of Cloud infrastructures, has announced today it has been selected for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Partner Program. The company, which has been working on business critical platforms for more than 15 years, has a strong AWS practice at the core of its operations and experience in Public Sector requirements.
CAPSiDE, as an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner in the AWS Partner Network (APN), has been accelerating companies with their digital transformation. The company has demonstrated significant capabilities to design, build, deploy, and manage complex cloud architectures on AWS. Headquartered in Barcelona but with offices in Madrid and London, CAPSiDE has been helping companies like Mango, Banc Sabadell, Alstom, Vueling, McCann Erickson, Grupo BBDO, Dorna MotoGP, Futbol Club Barcelona, and IKEA with their business critical platforms.
AWS Public Sector Partner Program
The AWS Public Sector Partner Program recognises companies with a strong overall AWS practice, and demonstrates their experience and readiness to support government, education, and/or non-profit customer missions.
Thanks to this new achievement, CAPSiDE will be able to provide a complete cloud services and cloud management portfolio that will give public sector customers fast, flexible access to the AWS Cloud.
Recent Public Sector successes that CAPSiDE designed and implemented include:
- The auto scaling Cloud infrastructure for the new ticketing app for tourism tickets, and the internal business portal migration, for Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB).
- Cloud migration of the front-end servers, connected to Oracle on-premise, of every Meteocat webapp.
- A high-availability infrastructure, with a migration to AWS, for the ICEMD’s marketing platform.
This recognition builds on CAPSiDE’s work helping customers adopt AWS, which has been expanding since 2012. CAPSiDE has not only been active as an APN Consulting Partner, but as cloud thought-leaders for its customers on AWS. CAPSiDE contributes to the open-source AWS ecosystem with many of its developments. For example, José Luis Martínez, CTO at CAPSiDE, created, develops and mantains Perl’s SDK for AWS.
In addition, CAPSiDE released a new tool that will help companies improve their time-to-market and DevOps processes on AWS. ENZiME, the red/black deployment tool developed by CAPSiDE, can be used on AWS to improve automation capacity and make easier, faster and more reliable deployments.
