During the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Orlando, CAPSiDE proudly received the “Open Source on Microsoft Azure Partner Award” for the year of 2015.
The “Open Source on Microsoft Azure Partner Award” is aimed to recognise partners who build outstanding open source-based solutions on Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Mark Hill, Vice-President for Open Source sales and Marketing Strategy at Microsoft, said on Microsoft’s Openness blog that:
“This year’s winner will have illustrated customer success with an innovative Azure solution that includes a significant, globally recognised, open-source project.”
For over a year, CAPSiDE has been an active Microsoft Azure Partner, sponsoring and participating with speakers in events, and offering its clients the cloud architectures that better suit to their projects’ needs.
- Using Azure, we have helped clients move their mission-critical projects (Windows or not) to an IaaS model.
- Our team includes skilled engineers trained with Azure and Microsoft technologies in order to ensure an optimal architecture design that takes complete advantage of Azure’s best practices.
- As an example, CAPSiDE and Wolters Kluwer worked together to efficiently host Smarteca on Microsoft Azure.
Dedicated to enhancing their new Microsoft Openness campaign, this award is aimed to congratulate the open source community. Without such a community, the advancement and delivery of open cloud solutions would not have evolved as spectacularly as it has.
We are really glad for the Open Source on Microsoft Azure Partner Award, as it recognises the outstanding work of our engineers and the rest of the team, our eagerness to innovate, and a great open-source project. Our aim is to keep on developing great solutions on Microsoft Azure and collaborating with Microsoft in their many open-source events such as the #DevOpsOSSAzureDays.
