El Punt Diari - On-line Services Platform

Thanks to the on-line services platform designed by CAPSiDE, the media group EL PUNT doubles its visits and gets prepared for the incorporation of the digital edition of the AVUI newspaper.

EL PUNT is a communications sector group structured around the company Hermes Comunicacions SA and EL PUNT DIARI, the largest-circulation regional newspaper born in Girona, in Catalonia in 1979. It also has, since November 2009, the 100% of the Avui newspaper, the main newspaper in Catalan. Also being part of the group, the weekly magazine PRESÈNCIA, the sports daily EL 9, the weekly classified Punt de Venda and free commercial publications like El Punt Habitatge, El Punt Motor and El Punt Decoració. In short, they publish more than 1,700 headers every day in Catalonia.

EL PUNT group has relied on CAPSiDE for the design, implementation and continuous monitoring of its service platform and its on-line content, with the CAPSiDE Systems Management Team to support the launch of new projects, services and portals.
